The 2016 World Championships in Amateur Radio Direction-Finding (ARDF) will be hosted by the Bulgarian Federation of Radioamateurs, BFRA, on 3 — 9 September 2016. The event will be held in Albena on the Black Sea coast in northeastern Bulgaria.

Competitions will be held on 80m and 2m in accordance with the standard IARU R1 ARDF rules. At least 30 Societies from all three IARU Regions are expected to participate. Medals will be awarded to the top individuals and teams in each of 11 categories (based on age and gender).

Societies and individuals interested in participating should consult the web site for more information: www​.ardf2016​.com . An initial Letter of Intent is due by 20 February, though that date may be flexible for small teams. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or need assistance.
