The IARU Region 2, Area G, phone contest will take place on October 1st and 2nd. Radio amateurs in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay work as many stations possible and the rest of the world work them on the 40 and 80 meter bands.
The exchange is the callsign and 6‑digit grid locator (i.e. LU4AAO GF05SK). Points are awarded based on the distance between the two stations that made the contact.
