The Federación de Radioaficionados de Cuba, FRC, has just started a new section on its website called “Founders and Old Timers”, reports Joel Carrazana Valdés, CO6JC, from their Information System.

The first guest was Anibal Álvarez Pérez, CO8JC, who in 1983 was called by a Dominican drifting boat and was able to provide emergency communications that save the live of its crew. You can read this interesting story, in Spanish, here.
