During the weekend of the international event JOTA 2017, the headquarters of the Federación Mexicana de Radioexperimentadores, A.C. received 4 groups from different provinces of Mexico City.

Special mention should be made of the presence of Scout National Chief Jose Luis Cárdenas and the Vice President, Federico Ortiz as well as members of the ASMAC National Board of Directors.

Within the activities carried out by the Scouts in the Federation, they were communicated using different bands in SSB, it is worth mentioning that they also made communications in digital modes such as FT8, PSK31, JT65 as well as the electronic mail service by HF called Winlink, with great acceptance among the participants.

For the traffic between Scouts, the special callsign for the JOTA event, 4A0ASM was used, which also used the National Scout Chief to give a message to the different provinces in México.
