The IARU Region 2 Executive Committee met virtually on October 18, 2023. 

The Executive Committee took the following actions and heard reports on the following matters:

• R2 Assistant Treasurer John Sager WJ7S gave an update on the region’s finances
• An update on IARU matters was presented by IARU Secretary Joel Harrison W5ZN
• Planning for the 2025 Region 2 General Assembly is beginning
• The committee studying restructuring of the EMCOM functions within the region will report at eh next R2 EC meeting
• The R2 News Editor reported on progress in the presentation of R2 news
• A presentation of the IARU Restructuring will be presented at the next R2 EC meeting
• Dates were selected for the first 3 meetings of the R2 EC during 2024 

The next meeting of the Executive Committee will take place on February 21, 2024.
