IARU Region 2 attended the meeting of the Federación de Radioaficionados de Centro América, FRACAP, in Antigua, Guatemala during the 23 and 24 of Novembrer 2007 when representatives of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama got together to promote amateur radio in the region.
