The composition of the IARU Region 2 Band Planning Committee has been finalized. Members of the Committee include:

Area D: Juan Carlos Muñoz, TG9AJR

Area G: Carlos Rodríguez, CX7CO
In accordance with the Committees terms of reference, it will deal with all matters relating to Amateur spectrum allocations such as band planning and general operating standards and practices, and will provide advice to the Region 2 Executive Committee. One of the most important tasks of the Committee will be to Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) with the Region 1 and 3 Band Planning Committees. This will enable the IARU to create a global approach to band planning.
The Executive Committee would like to thank all those who volunteered for the limited number of positions on the Committee.
