Our colleague Ramón Santoyo, XE1KK, IARU-R2 vicepresident, visited Lima last October 19 – 20 in order to discuss and coordinate the efforts needed for the coming IARU-R2 General Assembly to be held in our city in 2019.

It is not the first visit of Ramón to Lima and to Radio Club Peruano headquarters. As in previous visits, he met with members of the Board of directors and with club members, congratulating them for the continuous activity displayed by RCP in favor of Peruvian radio amateurs.

A Flea Market was organized on Saturday, October 20, as well as a brief ceremony to present the certificates of approval to students that successfully completed the second course in the year for candidates to amateur radio licenses. Besides, recognition diplomas were presented to certain members that participated in recent club activities.

We thank Ramón for being with us on that date that was so significant for club members and future OA colleagues.
