IARU Secretary Dave Sumner, K1ZZ, and his wife Linda, KA1ZD, visited the National Headquarters of the Federation of Radio Amateurs of Cuba (FRC) where they were received by Pedro Rodríguez, CO2RP, President of the FRC and other board members as well as members of the Havana branch and other associates.

Sumner praised the work of the FRC in emergency communications and congratulated them on their new and well structured website. He also commented on the consistent support of the Cuban administration for amateur radio in the ITU forums.
