The IARU Region 2 Executive Committee has voted to name Mr. Jorge del Valle, TG9ADV, as Monitoring System Coordinator for the Region.

Mr. Del Valle has been an amateur radio operator since 1997 and has been active in different amateur radio activities as phone and CW contest, APRS, IRLP, SysOp of several amateur radio nodes as well Secretary, in 2001, of our Member Society in Guatemala: CRAG.

Since 2010 he has individually collaborated with the Region 2 Monitoring System.
