On behalf of the IARU Region 2 Executive Committee, I am pleased to give notice of the IARU Region 2 General XX Assembly, to be held in Lima, Peru, from September 29 to October 2, 2019. This Assembly may also be referred as “Lima 2019”. The Radio Club Peruano (RCP) will be the host society for the conference.

Lima 2019 will deal with many important issues regarding the promotion and defense of amateur radio, HF, VHF and higher frequencies band plans and other issues of importance to Member Societies within Region 2.

It is a responsibility of all Region 2 Member Societies to attend the regional conference; therefore, we request that you form a delegation consisting of your Therefore, societies are encouraged to have enough members in their delegation in order to participate in all the various working committees of the conference.

Further information will be sent soon by email to the delegates. Therefore, it is important that each society notifies the Vice-President of Region 2 the names and email addresses the persons that will likely attend Lima 2019. Pre-registered delegates will receive the password to access the conference document section.
