Radio Club de Chile has installed the first repeater for the 1.25 meter band in that country.

The Repeater works on the frequencies RX 224.380 MHz and TX 222.780 MHz and operates at 1,000 meters (3280 feet) above sea level in the vicinity of Santiago. Soon it will be relocated to Cerro Chicauma, its definitive location.
