During the gala dinner of the LVI Convention of the Federation of Radio Amateur Clubs of Central America (FRACAP) in San José, Costa Rica last November 19, José Arturo Molina, YS1MS, IARU-R2 Secretary and Area D Director took the opportunity to present a plaque on behalf of IARU Region 2 to Marco Tulio Gudiel, TG9AGD, in recognition for his fifteen years as Area D Director.

Attending the convention were delegates of all the Central American countries and numerous colleagues, who thanked TG9AGD for his work in favor of amateur radio in Central America.

On his part, TG9AGD was very moved for the recognition and stated that he will continue working in favor of amateur radio, both in Guatemala and in the region.
