Last week, at the headquarters of the Mexican Space Agency, the “Regulatory Guide for non-geostationary satellites not subject to coordination” was presented. This documents describes the regulatory process on how to launch an amateur satellite to space in Mexico.
This work developed by the CICESE is available online (in Spanish) and describes in detail the role that IARU has worldwide in coordinating frequencies of these satellites as well as the participation of IARU Member Societies in each country.
Although this guide refers to Mexico we are sure will be of interest to regulators and radioamateurs. The authors said that this guide will be updated regularly.
