After one week of intense work by the delegates representing Member Societies of the continent, the XVII IARU Region 2 General Assembly came to an end.
The proceedings of the third plenary, which contain the resolutions approved in the meeting, are available in the IARU Region 2 web page in the Documents section.
The conference chose the city of Monterrey, Mexico, to host the XVIII General Assembly in 2013 and thanked Federación Mexicana de Radio Experimentadores for their proposal.
The last task of the delegates was the election of the officers and other members of the Executive Committee for the next three years. The Committee will be integrated as follows:

The Delegates expressed generous words of gratitude to Club de Radio Aficionados de El Salvador, CRAS, for being our hosts during this General Assembly.
There were 58 delegates attending the conference representing 19 Member Societies of the continent, 12 in person and 7 by proxy.
