The Trinidad and Tobago Amateur Radio Society (TTARS) Inc. and the newly inaugurated University of the West Indies Radio Club, 9Y4UWI, participated in the ARRL 2018 Field Day, 23 — 24 June 2018. The objective was to promote the value of amateur radio to the Campus community and visitors in the sphere of radio science and satellite telecommunication experimentation in the amateur radio/satellite service and to deepen collaboration between the University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and TTARS.
