Use of 60-meter band finally approved in the Dominican Republic

On March 4th, the Executive Branch of the Dominican Republic, through decree 91 – 20, approved the update of the National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF), according to recommendations of the INSTITUTO DOMINICANO DE LAS TELECOMUNICACIONES (INDOTEL).
The Dominican Radio Club was consulted and we recommend hosting the same IARU band plan.
In the document, the 60 meter segment is assigned to amateur radio as follows.

5 351.5 — 5 366.5 KHz FIXED MOBILE except for aeronautical mobile Radio amateurs (5.133B)

5.133B Stations in the amateur radio service using the 5 351,5−5 366,5 kHz frequency band should not exceed a maximum radiated power of 15 W (e.i.r.p.). However, in Region 2 in Mexico, amateur radio stations using the 5 351,5−5 366,5 kHz frequency band should not exceed a maximum radiated power of 20 W (e.i.r.p.). In the following countries of Region 2: Antigua & Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Dominica, El Salvador, Ecuador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, St. Lucia, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay, Venezuela and the overseas territories of the Netherlands in Region 2, amateur radio stations using the 5 351,5−5 366,5 kHz frequency band should not exceed a maximum radiated power of 25 W (e.i.r.p.).
