Considering that today is World Amateur Radio Day, the outstanding work of radio amateurs was recognized and congratulations were issued at the opening session of the 30th Permanent Consultative Committee I meeting of CITEL in Lima, Peru. Both, the Executive Secretary of CITEL, Eng. Oscar León, and the President of OSIPTEL Executive Committee and President of PCC I, Dr. Manuel Cipriano had allusive words.
Attending the event to receive the congratulations were the president of Radio Club Peruano, Oscar Pancorvo, OA4AMN, and IARU-R2 Secretary, José Arturo Molina, YS1MS.
